The I Fits, I Sits Shawl is a playful, cat-inspired design that captures that irresistible feline instinct to curl up anywhere: boxes, bags, or the exact spot you needed five seconds ago. The stitch pattern creates a cozy, lightly textured fabric that feels just as comforting as your favorite yarn stash (which your cat has definitely claimed).

Designed for crocheters ready to level up, this pattern strikes the sweet spot between approachable and engaging.

You’ll build confidence with new techniques while still relying on familiar stitches, making it the perfect “next step” project that won’t leave you unraveling your life choices.

You’ll Practice:

• Chains

• Single Crochet

• Double Crochet

• Double Crochet Decreases (clearly explained)

• Front Post Double Crochet

• Treble Crochet

• Picot

Whether you’re stitching on the couch with a cat in your lap (or on your yarn), this shawl is designed to be relaxing, rhythmic, and just challenging enough to keep things interesting - no rage quitting required.
