Former video game nerd (For the Horde), lifelong crocheter.
My grandma taught me to crochet so young I don’t remember learning—just getting scolded for my tension and being handed red yarn like it was a side quest. I’ve spent nearly 20 years in tech, picking up and putting down crochet as life demanded, until I finally unlocked the achievement: House With a Yarn Room.
That’s when the controllers got benched and the hooks took over.
These days I’m usually on the porch with my pups, theory-crafting crochet patterns and wondering why anyone thinks gauge is a reliable mechanic.
I design patterns for crocheters who want to level up, especially those who struggle with walls of text or charts that feel like ancient runes. By fusing written instructions and charts, I’m on a quiet quest to convert written-pattern loyalists into chart users—because fewer words mean fewer dyslexia debuffs for me, and clearer paths forward for everyone else.
I’m building this business slowly, deliberately, and without min-maxing the joy out of something I love. No grind culture. No burnout. Just good yarn, better patterns, and steady progression.
