259th Final Logo

Creating your own logo is the worst. Trying to decide which tiny little picture is going to represent everything you put your heart into is not to be taken lightly. I started designing my logo two years ago…it has undergone many renditions. From straight, to square, to round, back to straight.. But ultimately the fact it will be printed on very small project tags cornered me into making it round. And every time I’d say to myself “THAT’S IT!” I’d look at it 2 days later and say “Now I don’t like it…” And the cycle continued…

But one day, around the 97th time Illy snorted at me to open the door for her, it dawned on me there was only one image that would do - and that was of the most stubborn, insubordinate, and churlish creature I’ve ever known - Illy. I always say that Malfy is my Heart, Broxi is my Joy, and Illy is my Spirit - my stubborn, insubordinate, and churlish spirit. From there it finally kinda fell into place. Though merging huskies and berries proved quite the challenge…especially considering when embossed on a tag it would be so small. Many of the first ones I tried looked more like splatter than berries and leaves… Maybe it always will, but I have to stop at some point. And this it. Done! NO TAKSIE BACKSIES!
